Job Title: Chef de Partie

Responsible to: Head Chef
Multi award winning, Maurizio Restaurant located in Perth, Western Australia, is looking for a Chef de Partie, on a minimum of a 6 months contract. The restaurant strives to produce traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine, which prides its success on repeat business of distinctive quality clientele.

Duties:
- Work closely with the Head Chef, being responsible for your section, from preparation to food service a la carte menu or catering service.
- Carry out the service of the restaurant, for lunch and dinner for up to 150 guests. Or events catering for up to 1000 guests.
- Ensure immaculate quality and presentation of the food.
- Ensuring strict health and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Qualities
· Be capable of working under pressure
· Excellent communication skills to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.
· To withstand long working hours in a small team.
Experience
· Fully qualified from a hospitality and catering school or college.
· 3-5 years of working at the same level position.
· Fine dining experience in traditional Italian restaurant.
· Be fluent in English and Italian perhaps spent time working in an English speaking country.
