Senior Cost Manager (Darwin)

A great opportunity exists for a Cost Manager/ Senior Cost Manager to join our Darwin office for a short term assignment (approx 3 months).  We are seeking an individual who is able to form part of a team committed to the delivery of a wide variety of Cost Management services to our clients. 
 
The Position
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: cost planning and estimating during design phase, including preparing preliminary cost estimates from sketches, construction phase cost management including assessing Builder’s monthly progress claims and administering contracts and monitoring design changes and assessing effects on cost and measures.
 
Experience
Proven experience in cost planning, bills of quantity preparation, measuring cost plans and contract administration.  The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of being able to take a leadership role through the various stages of project delivery.
 
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a degree in quantity surveying or an equivalent qualification and be eligible for membership to a recognised professional institution.
