Why is this a good idea? So for the same price, why not effectively buy a house PLUS two blocks now, and sell them after the estate is finished?

There's plenty of room for a driveway down the side with which to access the rear blocks that you'd create. Why am I selling then? I'm retiring and moving to Tasmania.
